Invisible Text Generator

Generate and copy invisible blank characters β€” text that looks completely empty but is actually there. Use it to send a "blank" message, set an empty username or bio, leave a hidden space, or separate elements where a normal space gets trimmed. Pick how many invisible characters you need and copy them in one tap.

Tip: paste it into a username, bio, status, or message to send a β€œblank” entry. Some platforms strip blank characters β€” if it doesn’t stick, try a few more.

How invisible characters and blank text work

Invisible text is exactly what it sounds like: characters that occupy space but render nothing you can see. The everyday space bar produces U+0020, an ordinary space β€” but apps love to trim leading, trailing, and repeated spaces, so a "blank" built from normal spaces often collapses to nothing or is rejected as empty. The trick is to use characters that look blank yet behave like ordinary letters so they are not trimmed. There are several candidates in Unicode: the zero-width space (U+200B) which truly has no width, various fixed-width spaces, and the Hangul Filler (U+3164), a character originally meant as a placeholder in Korean text that most systems treat as a normal visible-width-but-blank character. This tool uses the Hangul Filler because it is the most reliable across chat apps, profiles, and games β€” it usually survives where a zero-width space would be stripped. People reach for invisible characters for a handful of practical reasons: sending a message that appears empty, setting a blank-looking username or display name, leaving an empty line where an app trims whitespace, or nudging layout in bios and forms. The behaviour is never guaranteed, though, because platforms increasingly normalize input to fight spam and impersonation β€” some collapse blank characters, some reject blank-looking names outright, and some allow them in one field but not another. That is why this generator lets you copy a single character or a whole batch at once: if one does not stick, a longer run sometimes does. It is a harmless typographic curiosity β€” just standard Unicode on your clipboard β€” useful whenever you need something that is present to the computer but invisible to the eye.
